The book contains a detailed survey of literature on the usage of structured stochastic soft computing algorithms that are capable of quickly and effectively adapting the coefficients of a wide variety of FIR and nonlinear structures as compared to classical adaptive algorithms. However, no single algorithm is sufficient to solve all types of optimization problem. Aptness of a particular algorithm depends on specific application.
