The objective of this study is to rationalize the routes with a view considering movement patterns of the passengers in the city, demand levels, service level benchmarks, need for various types of services, multimodal integration, overlap services, efficiency of existing operations to provide better services to the passengers. Two major routes were selected in Gurgaon city based on their demand and route length, its coverage to major residential and commercial centers at peak hours. The present study is based on the data collected from Primary and secondary survey such as Boarding and Alighting, passengers survey was conducted for the two routes in the city.
