This book is design to College students and other Professionals who would like to explore and enhance knowledge on descriptive and non-parametric statistics. The book introduces various techniques in manual calculation of data in descriptive and non-parametric statistics such as frequency distribution, relative frequency, cumulative frequency and percent, measures of central tendency (Mean, Median, Mode), measures of position (Quartile, Decile, Percentile), measures of dispersion/ variability (Range, Interquartile Range, Quartile Deviation, Average Deviation, Standard Deviation), measures of skewness, kurtosis, and the normal distribution of data. Discussion and concrete illustration in data analysis using the alternative non-parametric analysis of variance, one-way classification and two-way classification designs. Test of significant difference of correlated and non-correlated samples employing non-parametric statistics were also included. The equations and formula used were easy to understand and may enriched the knowledge of students and young researcher on data analysis techniques introduced in this book.
