This book is based on a research "A Comparative Study of English Language Teaching in English and Non-English Medium Institutions". There is a strong correlation between medium of instruction (MI) and acquisition of foreign or second language. The studies undertaken in the past have divided opinions. So to explore this correlation, the present study was carried out. This study shows that there are other factors also which make a difference. The book underlines the role of teaching methodology, use of English language in the institutions and teachers' attitude towards teaching as well as English language for effective teaching learning for rural learners.
