The need for efficient demulsification process to treat emulsions in the petroleum industry is well acknowledged. For decades, numerous researches have been conducted to examine mechanisms of emulsification and demulsification. Untreated emulsion has both technical and commercial implications in the industry, especially in terms of treatment facilities, refining and transportation. The studied work included applying ten commercial demulsifies at different temperature, Demulsifier concentration. Different Demulsifier chemicals tested from different manufactures. The acquired results with commercial Demulsifier for Halfaya crude oil at 70oC and 90oC with different dosage (25, 35, 40, 50,100,150, and 200 ppm). Clearly, the most efficient demulsification approach is the one able to attain desirable separation efficiency while complying with the environmental regulations and imposing the least economic burden on the petroleum industry.
