For this reason, frame structure with specially shaped column is suitable blooms, especially for multi-storey buildings. This work explains the behaviour of buildings with Rectangular columns and buildings with specially shaped columns and values of various parameters like story drift, story displacement, story stiffness etc. on the basis of lateral loadsSome of the complex geometric conditions and building irregularities requires experimental and analytical approaches for different material properties and sectional properties. Such parameters cannot be directly covered by the design code books and guidelines.
