The research refers to a Master's thesis whose general objective was to analyse how teachers in the municipal education network of Alvorada use ICT teaching tools in the classroom with 9th grade students. The methodology adopted was exploratory in nature, providing greater insight into the problem reported and enabling the construction of hypotheses. It was also descriptive, as it described the characteristics of the population, as well as explanatory, demonstrating how ICTs are used in municipal schools. The instrument used in the research was an electronic questionnaire with open and closed questions, which helped to clarify the research questions. The main results point to a good teacher/student relationship and a good pass rate for students. For teachers, there was greater motivation to use ICT and greater reflection on teaching methodologies, ICT and assessments. This made it possible to highlight aspects such as the need to review teacher training in ICT and that related public policies still need to be improved and should be developed jointly with teachers and students.
