Sinossi

Managing a computer network is a very important factor, but it becomes very complicated due to the increase in nodes and the heterogeneity of software and hardware. But the SNMP protocol has helped a lot with this task. But the Client/Server model, using the manager-agent structure, causes a lot of traffic on the network due to its structural form, as it is based on polling, which can compete with packet traffic, reducing network performance considerably, as management packets compete with data packets. In view of this, the model based on mobile agents emerged as a way of minimizing this transfer based on polling, where each node forwards the results to the next, which are collected by an agent, and ultimately forwarded to the manager, thus reducing competition between packets, and improving the performance of the network in question.
