It can be static or dynamic. “Static guided Endodontics” is a way to use CBCT merged with an optical impression, creating the platform for the design of a virtual drill path subsequent to the clinical procedure of drilling using a guide. "Dynamic navigation" is a promising technology designed to guide the placement of drills/implants in real time by a computer.
