The ultimate aim is to demonstrate that the commentators and researchers who succeeded Vygotsky tend to interpret his work in a biased manner, frequently claiming it to be a Marxist psychological theory, despite the author himself categorically stating that this was not his intention - indeed, he even levelled sharp criticism at the authors of his time who sought to do so. Vygotsky sought to achieve the unification of various psychological theories, which would culminate in a theory-method specific to the science of psychology; that is, in the convergence of various psychological theories into a monistic theory-method: a 'meta-vision' of the breadth of the psyche through a single principle.
