To better understand the reasons behind this situation, we asked ourselves two questions: How can a project bring about sustainable change? Are there factors that trigger sustainable change outside of development projects? The answers to these two questions have helped us to understand the need to take into account the internal dynamics of socio-cultural groups when formulating and implementing development projects.
