《三国史话》是吕思勉所著的一部历史通俗读物，讲的是读者最熟悉的三国史事。作者“或者纠正从前的误谬，或者陈述一些前人所忽略的事情”。初版包括《楔子》至《姜维和钟会》十六篇，1943年由上海开明书店印行。 本次出版，前十六篇按《三国史话》开明书店的初版校对。第十七篇至二十篇收录原来发表在报刊上的版本。作者写的与三国史有关的短文、札记编入附录。在文字的处理上，除纠正讹误，对生僻字进行注音、简释其义，个别较长段落进行分段等外，尽可能保持原文面貌。同时，配有图片近六十幅，并请复旦大学韩昇教授撰写《导读》。图文导读版《三国史话》是了解三国正史、反思历史经验的图文并美之作。
