Today most of the countries have opened their borders for trade. The process of liberalization that began a couple of years back has yielded tangible results and there are now better opportunities for new markets. How this process has completely changed the economic structure of both the countries, i.e., India and Hungary. The scholars of both these countries have shared their fruitful experiences with us. About The Author:- Prof. R.R. Sharma is currently the Vice-Chancellor of University of Jammu. Earlier, he was the Chairman of the Centre for Russian & East European Studies, School of International Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He is the author of several books, and research monographs on Central Asia, and the Former Soviet Union. His well-known works include Soviet Central Asia: A Marxist Model of Social Change ( Macmillan, 1979), The USSR in Transition: Issues and Themes (1985), The Asian Dimension of Soviet Policy (1986), New Contours of Soviet Foreign Policy (1989). Dr. Imre Levai is a well-known Hungarian economist who has worked on the problems of Economic Growth & Trade Relations of Developing Countries. He is currently a Research Fellow in the Institute of World Economics. Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He has written several monographs.
