She has ten years of experience in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has published a number of research papers in national and international refereed journals. She has also received grants from the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology, Chennai, to present her research paper at the 40th IUPAC Congress at Beijing, China.
