Sinossi

Going through a grieving process and learning to live with the suffering of loss is an act of resilience in which different psychosocial support mechanisms are activated. In cases of traumatic death such as suicide, long-term illness or Covid-19, perinatal or infant losses, accidents, to name a few, accompaniment by professionals become a determining factor in developing the healthiest possible grief and overcoming it with a resilient approach. This book focuses on individual and group intervention with bereaved people from the perspective of social work, using different person-centered models. Special attention is paid to cases whose complexity requires specific treatment for bereaved survivors, carers and even for the support professionals themselves, as has been the case in times of the Covid-19 pandemic.
