Today almost unknown PhDr. František Marek (1912-1987) was a very interesting personality of the Czech intellectual life in the second half of 20th century. Unfortunately, the political circumstances in the Communist era were not favourable for publishing his special studies. This volume contains two his studies, unpublished till to this time. The first study The Psychology of Propaganda is an attempt to set out an exact definition of the concept of propaganda in connestion with the effort to elucidate the most important psychological preconditions of propaganda or publicity campaign. The second study On the Psychological Nature of Dream contains a well-arranged classification of dreams (the criterion of classifying of dreams is their source and origin) along with an attempt to put forward strictly the rational, non-speculative explication of the origin of dreams and the relevance of them for human mind.
