<div><strong><B>Jan Cornelis</B> is the vice-rector&#160;of research&#160;at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Free University of Brussels) and head of the university's electronics and information-processing department. He is also a consultant professor at Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xian, China, and a member of the board of directors of the Interuniversity MicroElectronics Centre in Leuven, Belgium. <strong><B>Marleen Wynants</B> is the operational director of the CROSSTALKS program and a&#160;contributor to <i>JANUS</i> magazine. They are the coeditors of <i>How Open Is the Future?</i></strong></strong></div>
