Book appears unread, save for author's presentation to someone with the following words: " To Doris, with best wishes, Susan Barrantes 1998. No tears or soil in the glossy 208 pp text. Unclipped (and unpriced) dj in new mylar has negligible color loss at rear board tips, and a 6/8" closed tear at head of rear flap fold which can be seen in the photo below, but is now not noticeable at all because of the clear, removable jacket mylar that is now on the dj. Profusely illustrated landscape format coffee table book is 9 3/4" tall by 12" wide x 1 1/8" thick. Color photos on every page show the triumph, challenge, danger, tradition and tears of this fascinating sport from the first chukkers to the end of a long, tiring day and all it took to get there.
