Sinossi

Is it possible that: World created by GOD and Organizations created by man; Laws of nature (physics) and Rules for managing organizations... all have so much in common? Is it possible that current financial and economical crisis in the world is somehow connected with philosophies of western civilization, that includes: Paradigms of world view; Religion, that focuses on worshiping one human God; Management rules that contradict laws of nature; Tendency to egocentrisms, that destroys harmonious communication between individuals, as well harmony in the world; Threatens existence of several nations, races and even human civilization itself? There are more and more people who have noticed that there is an inherent conflict in almost every organization: Between management and subordinates; Among different functional departments; Between an individual and the group;Between career- making colleagues. Why is it that way? What is common to all these conflicts? How did it happen that almost all organizations - Big and small, governments and private, scientific and religious create the same structure pyramid-like. Where the idea of pyramid-like structures come from? Where does the idea that all resources of an organization must be fully utilized to get maximum efficiency come from? Why should there be internal competition to chose the best one? Who created the idea, that every organization is isolated from the world and must defeat all the other organizations? Why the most important operational measurements in organization are limited to the organization itself? Isn t it strange that most commonly thinking of management contradicts rules of nature? Let s discuss what prevents us from seeing organization as a part of more general flow of events, as one of interlinked chains of society? Why are we not able to be more harmonious between each other, with our organizations, with a nature and a planet in general? If we as managers of our organization will not understand what rules, decisions and actions contradict the laws of nature, our organizations and society will fail with any long-term and lasting improvements. Paradoxically, the predominating pyramidic model of organizational management conflicts with the laws of physics and takes people down a path of alienation and conflicts as well as threatens the survival of the organization. This book will show how to transfer your organization culture from Pyramid to Flow oriented management. It will help You to implement Flow management methodologies such as LEAN, TOC or Six Sigma much faster; to create an organization that is outstanding for its internal as well as its external harmony. By operating on the basis of self-organizing and self-improving principles, the organization will constantly innovate, pursuing long-term goals and caring not just for its employees but its entire environment as well.
