Techniques of Expression and Report Writing are University-level taught courses and aim at giving students a mastery in writing skills in important areas such as scientific, academic, or intellectual writing, summary writing, etc. In public Universities in Ghana such as the University of Education, Winneba, this is not an exception. While there are several University lecturers who teach this course, there are also several approaches to teaching the course. The fact remains that there is not a single standard prescribed book for Ghanaian university students to use to gain mastery in conference reporting. This article is therefore the result of a practical exercise in the work and product of a conference rapporteur.

Prof. Peter Pryce holds a Ph.D. in Translation and Interpretation of French and English, with research interest in Translation Theory and Practice, and Sacred Text Analyses of the Bible and Qur'an. Dr. Pryce is certified and licensed in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia in School Leadership and Administration I & II. Rev. Dr. Pryce is a Professor of French and lives in Maryland, USA. Prof. Pryce is also a Bilingual Conference Interpreter and he taught Translation and Techniques of Expression in the Department of French, University of Education, Winneba, GHANA. Dr. Pryce also taught Translation and Interpreting (French and English) in the Department of Modern Languages, University of Ghana, LEGON. Rev.
