Originally from New York City, USA, Corrine Annette Zahra is 17 years of age. Born to Maltese parents, she presently lives in Nadur, Gozo, in the Maltese Islands. She attends Sir M.A. Refalo Sixth Form. In 2013, Corrine was a dual winner in the Gozo Live Book Fair Competition, placing first in both the short story and play categories with The Vampire Slayer and Back in Time respectively. The Legend of Amanda Robins was published by Faraxa Publishing in 2014, a magical tale where war, intrigue, fantasy, mystery and magical creatures abound. In 2016, a play Corrine wrote for the Gozo Live Writing Competition called Let’s Stop Bullying! was turned into a short film to raise awareness about bullying and is being seen in schools all over Malta and Gozo. Corrine enjoys reading and writing in her spare time.
