Riassunto

César Franck's Quintet in F minor for piano, 2 violins, viola and cello was composed in 1879. It is considered one of his greatest achievements, alongside his other late works. He dedicated the work to the pianist at the premiere, Camille Saint-Saens, who rejected the dedication, however.
