Condizione: new. Pages: 26 Language: Russian, English. Version for flute by A. Tsypkin Antonio Lucio Vivaldi (1678-1741) was a great Italian composer, violinist, conductor, and teacher. He was the author of hundreds of concertos for various instruments and ensembles, as well as operas, oratorios, cantatas, and other works. He was one of the most vivid and extraordinary figures in the history of music-a composer whose work is imbued with a love of life and a truly Italian temperament. Around 1720, A. Vivaldi created a cycle of works under the general title Il cimento dell'armonia e dell'inventione (The Contest Between Harmony and Invention), which included his four best-known and most popular concertos: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Vivaldi prefaced each of these concertos with a literary program written in the form of a sonnet. The music follows the succession of poetic images so precisely that it raises the question of whether the poems might have been written later. The author of the Russian translation, V. Grigoriev, sought to preserve the exact meaning of the original while departing from its initial form and translating the sonnets into four quatrains. Spring (La Primavera) Spring has arrived! And with joyful singing All nature is filled. The sun and warmth abound, The streams are murmuring. And festive tidings The Zephyr spreads, as if by magic. Suddenly, velvet clouds come rushing in, And heavenly thunder sounds like a solemn bell. But soon the mighty storm subsides, And birdsong once again drifts through the blue expanse. The fragrance of flowers, the rustling grass, All nature is filled with dreams. A shepherd sleeps, exhausted after the day, And a little dog barks softly nearby. The sound of the shepherd's bagpipe Resounds and hums above the meadows, While a magical circle of dancing nymphs Makes spring glow with wondrous rays. The publication is intended for performing musicians, students and teachers of conservatories and music colleges, as well as a broad audience of music lovers. 9790660047033. Codice articolo 15-152884
