The Last Rabbi depicts the seven years of “tribulation” as seen through the eyes of Rabbi Yochanan ben Zakkai who in fact models a true life Rabbi who had tried to broker a peace deal with General Vespasian and his son General Titus in 70 A.D. In the Jewish writings he was called, “the first Rabbi” as he gained permission to build a Yeshiva that has transcended time to modern day and has upheld all the traditions of Rabbinic Judaism. Follow him and two of his best students as they each come to the knowledge that the Jesus they thought they knew as an imposter some 2,000-years ago was, and is, in fact their Messiah as the author tries to shadow the timeline of the book of the Revelation as closely as possible. In the studied opinion of the author these events will begin to unfold in the very near future.
