The doctrine of God — written inside the living story of God's purpose.
Classical theology has given us the divine attributes in careful sequence: simplicity, immutability, eternity, omniscience, omnipotence, holiness, love, justice, wisdom, Trinity. Every serious doctrine of God walks this ground. The Life and Nature of God walks it too — and then does something most treatments do not. It gathers every attribute under one name: Father.
God is not a collection of perfections that happen to coexist. He is one undivided life — the Father who holds a purpose, the Son who enacts it, the Spirit who brings it home. His simplicity means He cannot be divided against Himself. His immutability means His love will not cool. His omniscience means the curriculum is not guesswork. His holiness means the fire at the center of things is purifying, not merely punishing. His justice and His mercy are not competing attributes — they are the same undivided life working toward the same end.
Working through thirty-seven chapters, the book moves through the whole terrain of Theology Proper — God in Himself, transcendence and immanence, the divine perfections, the names of God across the ages, and the works of God through creation, providence, judgment, and restoration — before arriving at the doctrine that holds them all: the eternal Fatherhood from which the whole story of the ages proceeds.
At the center runs Zoē — the Father's own life in the Son, shared by the Spirit, and the thread that runs through every age. At the end stands Free Apokatastasis — not a forced return, not final ruin, but creation healed, children freely home, and the Father's house filled with His life.
This book is for:
A volume in The Master Plan Library — a collection exploring God's love for mankind, the purpose of the ages, and the final fullness of all things in Christ.
