Knox Aldermoor is ten years old, entirely sincere, and carrying a cloth-wrapped object with instructions to find the shop in the Elderwood and give it to the brownie. He has done this. He has now claimed the corner with the good light and shows no particular intention of leaving.
Fenwick has run Mosspocket's—a curiosity shop deep in an ancient enchanted forest—for longer than anyone can remember. Close enough to care for everyone. Far enough to disappear before they can return the favor.
