Sinossi

A storm breaks over the meadow, and Luna is the one who says she is fine.
Luna the fox and her friend Astra the squirrel are chasing each other across the
meadow when the wind turns and the sky goes dark. Luna takes Astra's paw and
heads for the trees. She keeps walking. She keeps her voice steady. And her paws
shake the whole way.

Then the rain swallows the path, Astra disappears into it, and Luna is alone
with the thunder. What brings her friend back is not a braver plan. It is the
sentence she has been holding in: I'm scared. I need you.

Under the wide branches of an old oak, two friends wait out the storm side by
side and the sunlight comes back.

Who this is for: children who hide a worry to seem grown-up, families riding out
thunderstorms and loud nights, and anyone teaching a child that saying "I am
scared" out loud is its own kind of brave. A watercolor picture book for ages 4
to 8, written in short lines for reading aloud.
