Riassunto

In this haunting novel, a young Irish gangster is caught in a brutal world between love and loyalty.

Tony Ward is back in West Dublin after lying low in England, having murdered a rival five years earlier. When he returns, he finds a different landscape: His mentor is dead and his best pal has gone straight.

So when a chance arises to work for the enforcer of a notorious crime boss, Tony jumps at it. Flute is a far cry from the quiet boy Tony remembered from school. Working as his right hand gives Tony protection from his earlier crimes as well as the opportunity to reach for the life he wants. While he's eager to prove himself as his own man, Tony also feels a pull toward Flute -- a feeling that Flute reciprocates.

As he draws closer to Flute, Tony begins to understand how unyielding his new life actually is. is there room for love in such a world, where nothing stays buried forever and where retribution is just a bullet away?

By turns savage and tender, All Them Dogs is a gripping noir set in West Dublin's drug world. Author Djamel White explores how his characters struggle to find balance in a place where violence, greed, and desire overlap, and how tenuous that balance can be.
