For those who relish tales like Lord of the Rings, ElfQuest, The Dark Crystal, and other classic fantasy tales, this first book in The Path series introduces readers to the mythology and world of Ágrios (Agrios). In this first story, Rae is forced to question every routine and ritual of her life. Born as a member of the Grounder caste, she and her brother Odio have spent their childhood building and maintaining the Kingdom of Kípos (Kipos). When her brother dies before her eyes, Rae's life spirals away from the Kingdom and into a journey that will introduce her to the Moon Shield, a talking bulwark, and the Sun Sword, a magical blade with a mysterious flame. Along with The Messenger, Erótisi (Erotisi), and others, Rae journeys deep into the kingdom catacombs to face her world's deepest secrets.

Stephen Fox has worked as a comic and fantasy artist since 2003. He's worked with companies like Dream Pod 9, Palladium Books, Mongoose Publishing, Social Games, Tidal Wave Comics, and others. The Path is his first illustrated short story, and is inspired by his personal effort to undersand himself and his faith - inspired by the chaotic fun of a midlife crisis.
