The team—including the massive Delta muscle Robbie, the agile operative Flash, and the brilliant hacker Slicer—must navigate a labyrinth of betrayal. They are joined by an unlikely ally, Anton Baranov, a Spetsnaz ghost who realizes he is just another loose end in the Architect’s ledger.
As the grid stumbles toward a permanent midnight, the hunt leads from the lightless woods of New Jersey to the fortified halls of the Old Executive Office Building and a clandestine switching hub on 14th Street.
