Seven years later, Raif returns home---neither the boy who left nor fully the beast he harbors. His handlers need his unique abilities to track supernatural predators stalking his hometown. Yet hunting Cryptids seems straightforward compared to facing those who had once known him---particularly Mikaela, whose memory has haunted him since the day she shattered his heart.
