Here we have the opposite. Lydia... LYDIA!!! She turns out just dandy! It is a surprise to see Mrs. Bennet shaken up by life's circumstances and actually doing well by her daughters. Kitty is the remarkable lady here, though. Disfigured and in reduced circumstances, her strength of character and pure heart win her the affections of everyone's favorite Darcy sidekick (with apologies to Charles Bingley).

Silly misunderstandings do not plague this estimable couple. They are intelligent, reasonable people, just as we all should be. Seeing the "sisters least likely" carry the day and become the means of their family's salvation was a treat.
