Tracey Baker is a lawyer, mother, and grandmother with a lifelong commitment to caring for others.
Before practicing law, Tracey worked as a nutrition director in facilities dedicated to caring for the elderly. That experience shaped her deep respect for dignity, patience, and the importance of support at every stage of life.
As an author, Tracey brings those values into children's stories--writing with empathy, clarity, and purpose. Her work reflects a belief that differences should be understood, not hidden, and that gentle support can help children feel confident and brave.
Her debut children's book, "Whiskey on Tap," is inspired by real hearing service dogs who help people with hearing loss live more fully and independently.
