Along with fellow Pendant-holders Crawf, Redgi, and Mreggil, they resolve to employ the magic of the Amulet and the four Pendants to help as many people as they can. Their goal: to combine fairness, efficiency, and effectiveness to the best of their ability.
When an epidemic breaks out and sweeps across the lands, it tests the limits of their magical skills—and their patience and diplomacy.
Complicating matters even further, the goblins whom the Dark Warrior displaced and then abandoned still roam the countryside and are growing increasingly restless—and aggressive.
