Riassunto

"You may wonder what these spectacles do.

I wear them so that I can clearly see you!

If you take some time and look about,

you'll find we all have things that help us out."

Eyeglasses, canes, walkers, and more-sometimes our loved ones use special tools we don't quite understand. Told through playful illustrations and jolly rhymes, Grammy's Glasses explores Grammy's unique accessory and aims to bridge the generational gap between young children and their grandparents.

Grammy's glasses help her see, but one day when they take a little tumble to the floor, Grammy and her little loved ones set off on an adventure! Join Grammy and her crew, and you just might learn that glasses may be a little different, but they don't have to be intimidating!

Informazioni sull'autore

Randi Knopman is a first-time author and proud Grammy. A former QVC guest host and actress, Randi currently resides in Florida, where she enjoys aqua fit classes and spending time with her husband, mom, and friends. Randi's greatest joy comes from her children and grandchildren, who inspired this story. The idea for Grammy's Glasses arrived when Randi's own young grandchildren discovered her glasses and how much fun it was to pull them from her face. This always produced lots of giggles-as well as several visits to the eyeglass store for repairs!
