Set in the snow capped Himalayan Mountains of Tibet, this is a story of courage, hope, and love.
It spans three generations and explores the complex relationships between fathers and sons, and the expectations they have for each other. It also expounds on the deep loyalty of friendship and the unyielding power of love for one another.
This little story came to me on a flight to Houston shortly after we had put our last of seven Lhasa Apso dogs to rest. I was quite down, but the flight attendant was a person of great joy and enthusiasm and he quickly got all the passengers to be in a happy mood. The joy lifted me up immediately, and I quickly recalled all the happy moments we shared with our pets, and began to write this story in their honor.
