Those memories were further complicated by a near-fatal encounter with a Mexican cartel over six million in smuggled cash. Grant discovers that the Earth is an experimental Petrie dish of manipulated human evolution and genetic editing which has been ongoing for thousands of years. Steve learns, from alien data files, that Grant's life has been purposely redirected and saved more than once by aliens. Finally, both brothers are recruited to affect the future of the human condition, and the ongoing sixth extinction event targeting the human race, an option they can't turn down.
