In 'Rise of the Dragon', Volume 2, Crach Ffinnant and Owain Glyndwr deal with deception, assassination attempts, and murder as the rebellion against King Henry IV of England gains momentum and Tan-y-Mynedd the Dragon discovers lost dragon eggs.
It is 1399 and twenty-five years have passed since Crach Ffinnant, dwarf, prophet and seer began a quest to serve an ancient prophecy. Henry Bollingbroke (soon to be crowned Henry IV) imprisoned Richard II in the Tower of London and seized the throne of England. Hating Owain Glyndwr with passion, he refuses to honor a debt, and seeks revenge, sending an assassin to kill him.
Tan y Mynedd the Dragon searches endlessly in the deep caverns of Ffestiniog for the lost dragon eggs knowing deep in his heart they still exist. Unrest in Wales is at fever pitch, common folk, and Lords alike are gathering under the banners of the Red Dragon and Owain Glyndwr (soon to be proclaimed Prince of Wales).
Will Crach Ffinnant, dwarf, prophet, and seer succeed in his quest?
Will Henry IV succeed in his mission to destroy Owain Glyndwr?
Will Tan y Mynedd eventually find the dragon eggs securing the future if his species?
Will Owain Glyndwr become Prince of Wales?
All these questions and many more are answered as the prophecy continues to unfurl and Crach Ffinnant, dwarf, prophet, and seer follows his adventures in Rise of the Dragon.
