Sinossi
In the mining area of South Wales Geoff has dreamt of owning a horse. He spends much time on his friend's father's farm helping with Welsh mountain ponies. It's not until he's a young married man that his dream begins to be fulfilled. His friend sells him a horse for five pounds in recognition of the work he's put in at the farm over the years. This is a story of the ups and downs of horse ownership, of excitement and heartbreak and hopes fulfilled then dashed. In the saga of Geoff's life with horses he is ably supported by his wife Gloria who provides him with a source of stability in the insecure equine world of horse shows, vets, dealers and treacherous weather among the mountains of Gwent.
