The author of the book wanted to highlight the sufferings of people going through certain mental and personality disorders. She also wanted to put forth the feelings behind certain emotional events like being picked on, going through a calamity etc. The book is a product of authors imagination and creativity. The poem *Insomnia* tells how an insomniac person sleeps well after a long time when even his medicines failed to help him, the poem *Suicide* describes how a student who was about to suicide was saved by their father,the poem *Claustrophobia* showcases a claustrophobic person's thoughts about taking an elevator instead of stairs when they are under pressure of getting late for an important meeting, the poem *Kleptomania* talks about a rich person who is a robber.
