Riassunto

PESHMERGA, this is how the Kurds call their valiant soldiers who for decades have sacrificed themselves in the name of freedom. Those who come face to face with death to defend someone else. From this the term, PESH (front) and MERGA (death).
Alex Pineschi was the first Italian volunteer to have fought Isis in northern Iraq, by that time torn apart by the advance of the Islamic State, alongside the fearless Peshmerga warriors. Alex and his Peshmerga from Task Force Black, the Kurdish Police anti-terrorism unit, faced the Islamic militiamen in their strongholds in Kirkuk and Mosul, freeing hostages and capturing dangerous terrorists, until finally defeating them. Having survived the battle and having come to the end of this bloody war, Alex returns home to face his greatest battle.
