It is 1966 and a laid back charter boat captain set in his bachelor ways is suddenly caught up in a lively adventure and a belated romance.
Along with his newfound friends, one of them a beautiful underwater archeologist, they must outsmart some diehard Nazis in the quest for thousands of gold coins.
In 1943, those coins packed in bronze cylinders and part of a secret plot, were jettisoned by the Skipper of a Nazi sub, certain he was about to be captured.
The tale begins in a coastal town in New England and transpires in Key West.
There may be some disappointment by the lack of graphic romantic action, language, and violence, but on the other hand it may be a refreshing change. There’s no more mayhem then would be seen in a fifties movie.I developed the story over many years on frequent visits to Key West, a place my wife and I dearly love.
