You CANNOT cure type 2 until you know the cause. There is no book presently in print which publishes the correct cause except: The fungus link to diabetes by Doug A Kaufman (2003). He postulated that fungus was linked to Diabetes, either causally or non causally. but did not prove it either way.

The Diabetic Detectives, publishes that a gut yeast overgrowth is the true and hidden cause of Type 2 diabetes. It gives detailed proof of why a gut yeast overgrowth is the cause. It describes the path taken by researchers Gordon Ritchie and Brian Bain, to find this cause and to find a cure. It publishes a medication free antifungal diet and exercise regime that does NOT merely reverse type 2 it completely cures it and returns your metabolism to the status quo ante enabling you to become a carb eating couch potato once again if you so desire (not recommended). To Reverse or to Metabolically Cure Type2 one must also perform a soothing calm, repetitive, low intensity exercise regime of 1-2 hours per day for 8-12 weeks. But once you have reached a full metabolic cure, that regime can be stopped completely. Neither author is a medical doctor. But Gordon did a year of Cell Biology at Cambridge and spent his life in one form of research or another (mathematical, computational, engineering and scriptural).

He is now finishing his second cure, and as of June 2021. is at the 30 minute walk each day stage, which should last for another couple of weeks.
