The elusive phenomenon of Consciousness has been a concern of humanity for centuries. His interest in the subject has led him to decide to capture his thoughts, not in the tangential way as expressed in his novels, but directly, in a work entirely dedicated to the phenomenology of consciousness. In this monograph, he shows us a forgotten facet that may be key to advancing his elucidation: The curious peculiarities of the now. We feel comfortable and do not notice anything special when living in the present time, that is, what is happening at this very moment. But, when we analyze it in depth, we realize that there is something exceptional and paradoxical about it and that it can be key to understanding the phenomenon of consciousness.
