As winter approaches, we poets turn inward, finding inspiration in quiet alone time, the soft muffling of snow settling like a blanket over all the noises. The coronavirus pandemic has further emphasized this aloneness in sometimes uncomfortable ways.Change is a great source of inspiration – both the change of seasons and of unexpected viruses. Many of the poems in this book reflect the power we find in exploring this change, using our poetic words to analyze and flip and look at things in a unique way that brings with it both comfort and excitement.
