Tuesday morning, just a few minutes past 9 am, the classroom door of an underground Bible school opened while I was teaching in it. More than 15 policemen came inside and started pointing cameras and video cameras at us. Knowing that a foreigner was not allowed to teach in a Bible school in China, I was completely aware that I was in trouble. Trapped! I had just started writing on the whiteboard different techniques for how to write an “introduction” (luckily without indicating that it was for a sermon). My first thought was, “This could be my last day in China. Lord, help!”

Through her personal experiences, mainly from her time in China, the author shows that whatever challenges we face, God is right in the midst of them. She aspires to put God on display: the Almighty-nothing-is-impossible-One, who loves to be known and experienced. Anna Koenig, a revivalist at heart combined with childlike faith, was sent as a missionary to China, ministering for 24 years (1994-2018) mostly underground. Prompted by God, in 2006 she started a Bible school (“School of Fire”) and ran it for seven years. That launched her into preaching all across China, often accompanied by signs and wonders, to impart to other believers what God had given her.
