Short Stories from Across the Pond is the second in a series of short stories. This book is now, not only about characters in Ireland but includes some stories about characters in the United States. As in the first collection, the main characters are all good people, many are simple folk, living a simple life. The author writes in a form suitable for late grade school through Jr. High school but can be enjoyed by adults of any age and as stories read to those who have not gained the ability to read at this level. All the charcters are fictitious but there are some references to historical figures,in a fictional setting. Any characterizations or references to iving persons is not intended.
