Sinossi

The satirist, Jonathan Swift wrote 'Gulliver's Travels', a classic of English literature, as he himself claimed, 'to vex the world rather than divert it.' Gulliver, the 'giant' wakens up on a beach on which he has been shipwrecked, to find to his great alarm, that he cannot move. Gradually, he realises that while he has been asleep, an army of little 'Lilliputians' has tied him down in a mass of silken threads. A strong satirical message here with which increasing numbers of people can resonate! We are puppets on a string! Just as in the song 'Puppet on a String' sung by Sandie Shaw in the 1967 Eurovision, with the words 'There is never a doubt / Just who's pulling the strings'. Just like Punch and Judy. Made to fight each other, the same puppeteer pulling the strings of both sides. Pawns on a great world chess-board, being moved about by those who are manipulating humanity for their own devious ends. But we are awakening to the reality of the games they are playing. How they have been dividing us against each other, in the old ploy, the old game of divide and rule. All those wars, all that violence, all that suffering and pain, that they have been deliberately manifesting to keep us fighting and hating each other! But they have over-played their hand with this present world health crisis. We can now see it all! And when we see those games that they are playing, then those games can no longer BE played. The strings have been broken! The puppets are free!
