His enthusiasm on the subject is obvious and we’d much rather read a book written by someone like this than by someone who really didn’t know the subject and approached the project as just another writing project. We highly recommend this book.My book is not a biography, it is a remembrance of the extraordinary life and accomplishments of an American Racing Icon with whom I had the opportunity to be associated in one of his greatest Victories: the 24 Hours of le Mans, in 1967.
