This book seeks to bridge the gap between substantive legal principles and often overlooked ethical requirements. It presents black-letter principles that govern in a given area of law as well as relevant ethical rules and advice based on real-world situations. The structure, themes, and principles set forth in the book will benefit students seeking to understand and properly apply criminal law in a courtroom setting, as well as those interested in the broader societal implications of ethics in criminal justice.
